The LJCDS women's volleyball team recorded seven straight victories over two days to claim the championship in the toughest division of the La Jolla Coastal Classic tournament. The championship match was against crosstown rival Bishop's and was dominated by the Torreys 25-18, 25-11.

Nikki Prescott and Makana Kowalski were named to the All-Tournament Team and Sami Francis was named MVP of the entire tournament.
